“Watch Me”

A woman stands on the edge of a cliff with arms raised in triumph, symbolizing freedom, strength, and breaking free from limitations.

There was a time when I believed the voices that told me I couldn’t. That I wasn’t strong enough, capable enough, independent enough. That the road ahead was too uncertain, too risky, too far beyond my reach.

For so long, doubt was planted like a seed, carefully watered by the ones who needed me to stay small. They spoke in limitations, in “you can’t” and “you won’t”—as if my future was something they had the power to decide.

But the thing about control is that it only works when you accept it.

And one day, I didn’t.

One day, instead of explaining myself, instead of defending my choices, instead of seeking permission where it was never needed—I simply said, “Watch me.”

Watch me walk away from the weight I was never meant to carry.
Watch me build something meaningful from the ground up, with nothing but my own strength.
Watch me become the person you never wanted me to believe I could be.

Because the truth is, I was never the weak one. I was never incapable. I was never too much or not enough.

I was just surrounded by people who were too afraid of what would happen when I realized my own power.

And now? I know.

There’s something freeing about walking forward without looking back. About owning your strength, your decisions, your next chapter. It’s not about proving them wrong anymore—it’s about proving to myself that I was right all along.

It’s why I created Sparrow Trades—a reflection of that journey. A reminder that we are not what we’ve been told. We are what we choose to become.
